Amigos, soy un ignorante en lo relacionado a tecnologia, y cuando se refiere a HDTV, no se cual es la diferencia entre 1080p o 720p. mucho menos se que cosa hace que un video califique como HD. Ciertamente la resolucion direis, y ciertamente, pero cuando encuentro un video de hace 35 anos, que sin ser HD ofrece una calidad de imagen y nitidez que poco (si acaso algo) tiene que envidiarle a la calidad Blu Ray que vemos hoy ya entrado el siglo XXI, da mucho que pensar. Por ejemplo si esta tecnologia ya existia en 1974 cuando la television a color aun era nobel... que ha sucedido luego, por que esa tecnologia no se pudo mantener y ser brindada en subsiguientes copas del mundo. Recuerdo haber visto la ultima copa del mundo en el 2006 en definicion standard, y la calidad de imagen aunque ciertamente promedio era bastante lejos de la calidad exhibida en este video de hace 35 anos! o sera que mucho me equivoco? En ese caso es hora de visitar al oftalmologo. Cualquier comentario al respecto o explicacion es bienvenido. Mientras tanto... disfrutenlo!

No soy especialmente un conocedor en temas tecnológicos, pero mi impresión respecto de la diferencia en la calidad de imagen en estos videos se debe no a que la transmisión original fuera en mayor calidad, sino al grado en que la fuente original se ha (o no) deteriorado. Es probable que varias de las filmaciones de los mundiales de 1970 y 1974 provengan de masters oficiales manejados por profesionales, ya que en esa época no estaban popularizadas las videograbadoras caseras. En los mundiales subsiguientes, cada vez más personas dispusieron de esa tecnología y grabaron los partidos en su casa, pero al mismo tiempo, esas cintas quedaron probablemente expuestas a la humedad, los hongos, etc.
Eso es lo que creo yo, sin que pueda garantizar que sea así fehacientemente, es apenas mi opinión.
